TUESDAY: pg. 143-159 (Chapters 22-24: "Barbara Strozzi and the Italian Secular Cantata," "Bach and the Sacred Cantata," and "Handel and the Oratorio.")
WEDNESDAY: pg. 160-175 (Chapters 25 & 26: "Baroque Sonata and Concerto," "Baroque Suite and Other Instrumental Forms.")

IMPORTANT!
I will be giving a pop quiz sometime this week that will pertain to the readings. I'm not telling you when it will be, so it will be in your best interest to do the readings and come to class. I will not administer make-up pop quizzes. This quiz is in lieu of Discussion Sheet #4 and will have four questions on it based on the readings.
